Brace yourself. This is no coffee shop filled with wanna-bes. Kirtland offers one of the few associate in fine arts degrees in Creative Writing in the nation and it is one of the first colleges to offer such a degree.
The program at Kirtland will give you experience in several genres, as well as the academic background necessary for further study at a four-year college or university.
If you become a Creative Writing major, you’ll study the techniques of creating and discussing poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction through introductory classes and workshops where you’ll write poems or prose.
