Whether your educational goal is a four-year degree or a Ph.D., consider starting your journey at Kirtland Community College.

KCC offers nine associate degree programs that you can use as the foundation for a wide range of higher degrees.

The first two years of most bachelor’s degree programs are essentially the same no matter where you go:

  • entry-level courses in

    • science,
    • English,
    • social sciences and
    • the humanities
  • as well as some higher-level courses in your field of interest

By completing the first two years of either an associate in science at Kirtland, you not only complete those common program requirements in a relaxed, professional setting, but earn a fully accredited associate’s degree that can stand alone or transfer seamlessly to just about any college or university in Michigan.

Kirtland is a participating member of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) Transfer Agreement, which ensures that, given the proper advisement, when you complete a transfer degree at Kirtland, you will have satisfied the basic two-year requirements of the participating four-year college or university to which you are transferring.
