GENERAL OFFICE HOURS

8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

Many college students don’t ask questions about financial aid and lose out on free money. You owe it to yourself (and your wallet) to investigate as many options as possible.

Kirtland’s accounting experts want you to apply for grants and scholarships even if you think you won’t qualify. Why? Because you might.

Ask your employer or county Michigan Works! Office if they can help offset any of your college costs. Why? Because they might.

Consider skipping those student loans and be debt free. Make interest-free monthly payments throughout the semester. Why? Because you can.

Classes are not all the same price. Tuition and fee rates are based on the contact hours of the course. The accounting office staff will help you figure out exactly what you’ll need to pay.

Registering at the last minute? Your payment may be due before your financial aid is packaged and available. However, you still may enroll by setting up a payment plan and paying a small portion up front. Once your financial aid is approved and as long as the aid covers all of your tuition, no more payments!

Avoid unnecessary stress. Ask all of your questions.

Keep those classes and favorite time slots you worked so hard to get by having your finances in order as early as possible.

Senior Citizen Rates

Senior Citizen DiscountsIndividuals who are residents of the Kirtland district, have been accepted for admission to the college, and are at least 60 years of age will be eligible for a maximum of two contact hours per semester tuition free.

Seniors will be responsible for all related enrollment fees such as the registration, technology, facilities, and course fees.

To receive this scholarship, simply provide proof of residency and your date of birth at the time you complete your Application for Admission. After you register for classes, the Senior Scholarship will automatically be posted to your account by the Financial Aid Office.

Sponsoring a Student or Employee

Kirtland can invoice an employer or sponsoring agency for a student's tuition, fees, and textbooks.

The Accounts Receivable Department will need a signed authorization or letter indicating the student's name and the authorized fees the sponsor is willing to pay. The student will be responsible for tuition and fees not paid by the sponsor and must have all paperwork submitted prior to the payment due date or at the time of registration. Written authorizations need to be submitted each semester.
