For Presidential Search Interview, Mr. Robert Jones

CALL TO ORDER

Chair Sally Galer called the meeting to order at 2 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Members Present:      Sally Galer, Roy Spangler, Richard Silverman, Denis Weiss, Roberta Werle

Members Absent:        Robert Bovee, Patricia Webb

Others Present:          Jo Ann Comerford, Nick Holton, Kathy Koch, Deb Jones, Robert Jones, Doty Latuszek, Kathy Marsh, Dale Shantz

WELCOME

Members and guests were welcomed by Chair Sally Galer.

PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE INTERVIEW

Dale Shantz, Human Resources Director, facilitated the interview with pre-selected questions approved by the board.

A break was declared from 3:31 to 3:51 p.m.

Individual board members asked questions and made comments in addition to the questions presented by Dale Shantz.

OPEN DISCUSSION

No comments were offered from the audience. The board asked if Mr. Jones had any questions of them. He asked for key issues the board has. The response included trust and communication, facilities, morale and a sense of fairness.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was declared adjourned at 5:06 p.m. followed by an informal dinner with the candidate and the board.
