Cardiac Sonography uses ultrasound imaging to diagnose life-threatening illnesses or conditions in the heart. The procedure is used to identify irregularities in and around a heart simply by what the sonographer sees and hears. You could become part of a team that improves the lives of thousands of people — and you’re likely to save hundreds of lives during your career — simply by being the one that does the test.
Our cardiac sonography program includes clinicals at hospitals and diagnostic labs — so you’ll be ready to use your skills in a doctor’s office, hospital, lab or even in higher education. Clinicals are available right here in Michigan, but if traveling piques your interest, you should know you can also do clinicals outside the state. How many more great reasons do you need to check out our cardiac sonography program?
