Kirtland's counselors use a variety of tests designed to draw out information about your academic abilities, interests, personality type, and self-esteem. The focus of counseling can be academic, career, or personal, depending on your needs.

Tests Available through Counseling Services
will give you reliable information that can be useful as you make your personal, academic, and career decisions.

Academic, Career and Personal Counseling
sessions are part of an "interactional process." You and a counselor must work together and communicate with one another, sharing the responsibility for making the process successful.

Kirtland's Student Assistant Program
is designed to provide Kirtland students with help in dealing with emotional, medical, social, family, alcohol, and/or drug abuse problems.

The Counseling Office offers career and employment services to provide instruction, guidance and support for the career related needs of our students, staff, and community members.

For appointments or information call (989) 275-5000, ext. 280.
