Recipients of Kirtland Foundation funds include students, faculty and the campus itself.
From portable science labs, benches around campus to overseas service learning experiences, the Foundation makes everything at Kirtland Community College world-class. The Kirtland Foundation is a:
- resource to support Kirtland Community College and its students
- fiscal agent for Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs
- supporter of Service Learning projects
- facilitator of strong relationships with Kirtland Community College alumni and friends
Donors, recipients, volunteers and alumni create experiences that last a lifetime when they participate in Kirtland Foundation work. Some of the many benefits of being a part of the Kirtland Foundation include:

The Kirtland Community College Foundation was established in 1972 and is a 501(c)(3). Donations are considered to be tax-deductible gifts. Here are a few of the many examples of projects the Kirtland Foundation has funded:
- $10,000 for youth theater mission in the community
- nearly $4,000 for simulators for nursing clinical program
- $1,000 for mobilized carts for handicapped people
- tuition, books and living expenses for Kirtland Community College students

Our Mission
The Kirtland Community College Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide educational benefit to the Kirtland Community District and its students who reside in an area that assesses a millage for the support of college programs.

What We Do
We want to help ensure a better education for our students; provide more teaching tools for our instructors; and render more scholarship money to provide an education for those who may not otherwise receive one. We can do it with your help!
