Youth Art Exhibit
AuSable Media and the Kirtland Foundation are pleased to announce the upcoming Premier Youth Artists Exhibit.
This event is a youth art competition open to any high school student in the Crawford, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Roscommon, or Otsego Counties, including home schooled students. The competition will be held April 20 and 21, 2018, at the Kirtland Community College Grayling Campus.
Art may be entered into the following judging categories:
Each category will be judged separately and a prize will be awarded to each winner. Further, the finalists for each category will present their art at a live auction held during the Kirtland Foundation’s Spring Gala on April 21. The presenting artist will be awarded with the full auction price of their piece, minus a 15% gallery fee paid to the Kirtland Foundation. All other displayed art must be available for sale at the Friday night exhibition, with prices set by the artist. These pieces will also be subject to the 15% gallery fee.
Digital photos of the art pieces must be submitted by Friday, April 6 and will be subject to a juried selection process in order to compete in the competition. Final judging will take place on April 20. This competition is open to all students, not just students currently enrolled in art classes at the school.
Additional questions may be directed to Jennifer Page at (989) 275-5000 ext. 446 or email@example.com.
We look forward to working with your students on this exciting opportunity!
