Do you know the difference between graduation and Commencement?
Graduation is the actual awarding of a degree or certificate. They are awarded each semester (Fall, Winter and Summer). The graduation and diploma dates are always the last day of the graduating semester.
Commencement is the ceremony honoring those receiving degrees and certificates. Kirtland Community College has only one Commencement held on the last Friday of the Winter semester. The ceremony will last approximately two hours
Commencement will be held Friday, May 4, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kirtland Auditorium.
The process of preparation for graduation and commencement can be confusing. Visit our Steps to Graduate page for a detailed step-by-step guide.
You may also download the graduation and commencement guide.
Will I be able to keep my KMail after graduating?
Yes, you will continue to have access to your account as long as Kirtland continues to use Google as their email server.
