Kirtland Hosts Homeschooler’s Event October 15

Kirtland Community College is presenting the “What Is Your Path” Homeschooler’s Event on Monday, October 15 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Kirtland’s main campus near Roscommon.  This event is free to attend and is geared toward students in grades 7-12 who are presently receiving their education through homeschooling.

Homeschooling students and their parents are invited to learn about earning college credit through dual enrollment, general college admission, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and will have the opportunity to experience the college classroom setting firsthand.  Attendees will visit one of Kirtland’s state-of-the-art active learning classrooms, experiment in the chemistry lab and observe a college class while in session.  Following these activities, visitors will tour the beautiful Roscommon campus, enjoy lunch and be eligible for prize giveaways.
