The Honors Program at Kirtland Community College provides enhanced educational opportunities for academically talented students in both general education and occupational programs. The Honors Program offers greater challenges and greater rewards for students of high academic standing at Kirtland.
From the time of its founding in the 1995 academic year, the Kirtland Honors Program has been devoted to providing a more enriching academic experience for our students. As a student or a faculty member, if you are interested in taking the content of a course to a high level of understanding, the Honors program is the place for you. Being a small college and unable to provide independent "honors sections" for our college courses, Kirtland follows the model that offers "honors option" courses.
