Kirtland Community College is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for possible temporary part-time Continuing Education and Workforce Development training assignments.
These positions are filled on an as needed basis and are on-going recruitment. Assignments may include day, evening and weekend courses and applicants must be available for face-to-face instruction in Northern Michigan.
SUPERVISION – Works under the general supervision of the Dean of Occupational Programs
- Master’s degree in a business related field AND
- Minimum of five years of lean systems experience in the manufacturing or service related industry as a coach, trainer, and/or continuous improvement leader. Specifically, experience should consist of training/coaching, leading and implementing projects in lean systems essentials, logistics and supply management and six sigma AND
- Lean Systems professional designation/certification (SME Bronze, Silver, Gold and/or Six Sigma Black Belt.)
COMPENSATION – Individuals in this position will be employed by EduStaff on behalf of Kirtland Community College. This position is paid in accordance with the part-time faculty salary schedule for EduStaff employees contracted for Kirtland with an hourly rate of $35.94 per contact hour for associate’s prepared faculty. Contract rate may vary based on assignment.
