Kirtland Community College’s annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is underway. Sponsored by the Alpha Omicron Gamma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, Honors Program, Student Senate and the Ms. Club, Kirtland is now collecting donations for families in all of our neighboring communities.
Collection boxes have been placed around Central Campus and the M-TEC at Kirtland-Gaylord for donations. Canned goods and non-perishable food items including Thanksgiving dinner ingredients (e.g., canned vegetables, stuffing and gravy) and other high protein sources (e.g., peanut butter, tuna fish, beans) are greatly welcomed. Cash donations will be accepted as well. The deadline for all donations is Thursday, Nov. 17.
Students, staff and community members who know a deserving student or family, or anyone wishing to give a cash donation, are asked to contact:
Roscommon Campus: Terry Geary, 989-275-5000 ext. 359 or firstname.lastname@example.org
MTEC-Gaylord: Marilyn Cole, 989-705-3600 or email@example.com
Kirtland and the Thanksgiving Food Drive sponsors appreciate the thoughtfulness and generosity which will make this food drive a success.
