KCC Student Art Portfolios Reviewed by Kendall College of Art and Design

Students in Kirtland Community College’s art program had the opportunity to have their art portfolios reviewed by Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) admissions officer Theresa Chiles on Oct. 13th.

Kirtland art instructor Scott Rice established an educational alliance with Kendall in 2002.  In conjunction with Kirtland’s annual College Night event, KCAD representatives review individual student portfolios.  All students interested in transferring to KCAD are allowed to have their work looked at to discuss what they need to work on at Kirtland to give them better success in their scholarship competition.

Since beginning this partnership, Kirtland students have received more than $550,000 in scholarship awards which enable them to transfer to Kendall College of Art and Design and continue their education.
