Kirtland Community College’s Community Education Department announces the addition of a “Secrets of Couponing” class on Monday, April 23rd which will be offered in the Instructional Building (Room 123) on the central campus from 6-8 p.m. The cost of attending the class is $20 and interested area residents must enroll no later than April 12th.
Kirtland employee Terri Robson will introduce the art of couponing and help participants to learn, share and compare secrets. According to Community Education director Clay Horton, “Couponing is a national phenomenon and Kirtland is lucky enough to have a couponing star like Terri.”
Robson, who is also a local resident, shares, “I first got involved out of curiosity. Due to unexpected changes in my life, couponing quickly became a necessity. I am excited to share my “secrets of couponing” with everyone who enrolls in this class. Unlike the television series, I do not teach “extreme” couponing. My goal is to teach people real life couponing secrets to help you knock 50 – 100 percent off your shopping budget.”
Anyone interested in learning more about the “Secrets of Couponing” is encouraged to enroll quickly as the class is expected to fill up quickly. “People who attend should find that a little time invested will create the opportunity for large savings in your family’s grocery budget,” said Robson.
