First up to sign his letter of intent to join Kirtland’s golf team was Roscommon High School senior Ryan Nagy. Teeing up next are Michael and Mitchael Dunn – twins from Kalkaska High School. As proud parents and coaches watched, these young golfers made some big strides toward preparing for their future, thanks to the academics and athletics they’ll be able to pursue during their time at Kirtland.

Ryan, Michael and Mitchael are receiving athletic scholarships to attend Kirtland in the fall will join returning golf team members Josh Walker, Ryan French and Josh Lueck. The team will continue to be coached by Jason Broge.

The mission of the athletic program is to provide men and women with the opportunity to learn and grow as a result of participating in a high-quality intercollegiate program. The program also attempts to improve student life and, in turn, improve the recruitment and retention of students. The athletic program also seeks to increase community involvement with Kirtland by providing sports entertainment at a level that previously has not been offered in the Kirtland region.
