The Kirtland Community College Foundation is hosting a 50th Anniversary luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 10th. The college is reaching out to Kirtland retirees, former employees, alumni and other community members interested in celebrating and reminiscing about the college’s history.
At the luncheon, the Kirtland Foundation will fill a 50th anniversary time capsule with pictures, newspaper clippings, Kirtland memorabilia and other college and historical mementos. All community members are invited to submit items for consideration to be included in the time capsule. Any items not used will be on display during the luncheon and will then be returned to the contributor.
Kirtland’s Retiree and Alumni Luncheon will be held at Kirtland’s new location in Grayling, 4800 W. 4-Mile Road. The 50th anniversary time capsule will be buried at the same location following the luncheon. The luncheon is free to attend; however, an RSVP is strongly encouraged.
Anyone interested in submitting any items for consideration to be included in the time capsule or wanting additional information on the November 10th luncheon should contact Jennifer Page at 989-275-5000, extension 446.
