|Residency||Fall 2015 - Summer 2016|
Regardless of which college is offering the course, you will be eligible for the In-district tuition rate if you are a resident of ANY Michigan community college district. If you are a Michigan resident, but do not live within a community college district, you will be charged the Out-of-district tuition rate. All other students will pay the Out-of-state tuition rate.
In order to be charged the in-district tuition rate, you must be able to provide proof of residency according to the policies of the Michigan community college in which you reside (your “home school”). If you have questions about residency, contact the school that you have claimed as your home school. They will be able to provide you with more information and assistance. Your home school notifies the school(s) at which you will be taking class(es) which tuition rate you should be charged.
Please go to the following link for Kirtland’s payment deadlines and accepted forms of payment: Payment Schedule. Please note, when payment is due the day of registration, MCO students will receive a statement of charges after the registration is processed and payment will be due within 10-14 days.
