Kirtland’s Community Education department is offering a six-week physical fitness and nutrition series beginning Apr. 4. This series will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. at the CRAF Center located at 606 Lake St. in Roscommon. The cost of the series is $39.
Certified physical trainer Jerry Boerema will guide participants through physical fitness and nutrition in the 21st century. He will look at a better approach to food and nutrition and take the class through a fun paced, resistance-based workout regimen designed to help participants attain their fitness goals. Boerema has been teaching fitness courses for over 10 years.
The six-week series features class time samples of nutritious hot food and quality snacks, as well as a variety of recipes to make at home to speed progress toward better fitness. All fitness equipment is supplied and comfortable clothing is required.
