The college will provide proper compensation to nonexempt employees who work more than 40 hours in a standard work week as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act. Nonexempt employees required to work over 40 hours in a standard work week will receive overtime compensation at 1 1/2 times their regular rate of pay. Compensatory time will be allowed only to the extent that it complies with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
