POL 6.070 Auditing of Courses

A student who wants to attend a course regularly, but does not wish to receive a grade or credit may register to audit the course. A student who audits a course will be required to officially register and pay all tuition and fees.

Courses taken for audit must be declared by the census date of the semester in which the course is taken.

Approved April 17, 1997

Revised March 18, 2010

A “change in audit status” form must be properly completed and submitted to the director of student services for processing changes.

Although the policy allows for auditing of courses, students receiving financial assistance should check with the financial aid office to determine what effect the audit may have on their financial aid package.
