Crawford Roscommon Suicide Prevention Coalition Presents two workshops for those bereaved by suicide

Have you lost someone to suicide and feel you have no support?  We have an answer.  The Crawford Roscommon Suicide Prevention Coalition (CRSPC) will be hosting two workshops for those dealing with losing someone to suicide.  Each workshop will have several speakers along with an open forum for participants to ask questions or tell their story.  One workshop will be held on February 3, 2014 in Graying at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 6459 West M-72 (next to the G.R.A.C.E. Center), from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.  The other workshop will be on February 10 in Houghton Lake at the Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church (5599 W. Houghton Lake Dr.), from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.  Everyone is welcome!

The CRSPC will also be hosting an 8 week support group starting February 27th – April 17th, for “Those Bereaved by Suicide”.  This will be the third year that this support group will be offered.  It is tagged for older teens through adults of all ages.  This support group will be held at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church of the North, on W. Robinson Lake Rd.  For more information on either of these programs please call Carol Miller at Mid-Michigan Health Park 989 422 2102 or Doug Pryor at the G.R.A.C.E. Center 989 348 2544.
