What classes are offered at Gaylord?

Some people think our Gaylord M-TEC location only offers skilled trades and industrial training.  Actually, since our Gaylord site is an extension of the college, it offers nearly everything we offer at the main campus.  Sure!  We’ve got great skilled trades training available, but there are also some pretty innovative classes are available at our Gaylord site, including a wide range of general ed, health science, occupational plus all our great skilled trades programs.

Our Gaylord location offers the in-depth education and hands-on labs so you can make your existing skills even better and enter (or re-enter) the workforce more quickly.  The same, top-notch nursing program we offer in Roscommon is available in Gaylord, and our Cardiac Sonography program has helped to place students in jobs across the entire country.

Of, if you’re thinking of transferring to a four-year school, save a bunch of money by taking your pre-requisite classes here and know that your credits will transfer with you.  (Sidenote:  you do know that attending community college costs ONE-THIRD the cost of a four-year school, right?  Hmmm…$3000 a semester versus $10,000 a semester.  You do the math!)

Here’s a list of several programs and degrees available at Kirtland-Gaylord (check out the whole list of courses being offered in Gaylord through our myKirtland portal):
