Earn your associate degree while you’re working on your high school diploma
I was offered early college for law enforcement training while still in my senior year of high school. Kirtland really works well with high schools to make sure my credits would transfer over. It didn’t cost me a thing and it was seamless. I knew I was interested in a service career and am glad this training was available to me.
Why not both? For high school students eager to get started on college, Kirtland’s Early College program offers an opportunity for students to get a jump start on earning their associate degree while still in high school. Experience college and enjoy convenient on-campus and online courses.
Our three-year course of study is tuition free or with tremendous savings for students and their families, saving thousands of dollars in college costs. The program begins in 11th grade and runs through a 13th year. Your high school diploma will be withheld while you complete your high school requirements during your 13th year, at which point you will receive your high school diploma and possibly an associates degree. You can earn up to 60 tuition-free (or at a tremendous savings) college credits, and just one year out of high school you will hold a diploma and you could have an associate degree, giving you a leg up for launching your career or transferring to a four-year university.
