POL 5.345 Categories for Employment Classification
Kirtland Community College has established defined categories of employment to facilitate consistency in communication, personnel and payroll record systems, classification and compensation, application of benefit programs, to meet reporting requirements, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
The establishment of a position at Kirtland shall be within the College’s authorized classification specifications. Requests to establish, reclassify, or modify a position must be submitted and approved following established Kirtland approval processes. Requests for positions funded from contract and grant sources must be approved by the Director of Human Resources, the President, or their designees.
