3 New Endowments From Wayne And Marcia Koppa
The Kirtland Foundation Announces New Scholarship Opportunities
More scholarship opportunities are available to students at Kirtland Community College thanks to the generosity of Wayne and Marcia Koppa. With the Koppas’ support, the Kirtland Foundation has created three new endowed scholarships.
“These scholarships are in memory of individuals who have made a big difference in our lives. We hope the scholarships will help deserving students complete their educational goals and obtain meaningful employment in their chosen field,” Wayne said.
The scholarships include the Donald Bronson Endowed Scholarship Fund created by Marcia Koppa, brother of the late Donald Bronson; Helen’s Cosmetology Grayling High School Endowed Scholarship Fund created by Wayne Koppa in memory of Helen Louise, a lifelong cosmetologist; and the Zalkalns – Karklins Grayling High School Kirtland Endowed Scholarship Fund, created by Wayne Koppa, Gundar Zalkalns and Rasma Karklins.
“Our families have always valued education and learning, recognizing that it is a cornerstone of a well lived and productive life,” Marcia said.
