Kirtland Foundation Announces Winter 2023 Semester Scholarship Recipients
The Kirtland Foundation is proud to announce 42 scholarship recipients for the Winter 2023 semester, totaling $35,500 in disbursed awards. Thanks to the support of all of our donors, we are able to continue awarding scholarships to students for years to come.
“When considering attending a higher educational institution, finances and cost of attending is always going to be a factor. For some, it is a factor that leads them to not attending at all,” said Kirtland Foundation President Bill Curnalia, donor for the Curnalia Scholarship. “These scholarships not only help meet the workforce needs our communities, they also help those who face financial difficulties attend college and motivate potential students to strive for higher education.”
Through annual scholarships and endowed funds, the Kirtland Foundation awards money to students in need of financial support for college to help them achieve their academic goals and pursue their dreams. Scholarships are awarded based on criteria, including essays on life experiences, education and career goals, and community involvement; as well as letters of recommendation.
