Chris Bowman was born and raised in mid-Michigan. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Flint, an M.S.A. in General Administration from Central Michigan University, and is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Oklahoma.
In August of 2020, Chris began his role as Vice President of Business Services at Kirtland Community College. Prior to this role, Chris has worked in higher education as Controller for Rochester Christian University and Oklahoma Christian University. Additionally, he has worked in the credit union industry for over twenty years, serving in various roles, including Chief Financial Officer and President.
Chris is married to his wife of 33 years, Marcy, and has four children, two grandsons, and a great-granddaughter.
