Kirtland Community College 2022 Commencement Honors Graduates
Kirtland Community College held its commencement ceremony on May 6th to honor this year’s graduates. In total, over 200 students were eligible to receive degrees, and roughly 65 graduates attended the ceremony.
Commencement took place in the College’s new Thomas Quinn Event Center at Kirtland’s Grayling Campus.
The College welcomed Bob Jacquart, CEO of Stormy Kromer, as the commencement speaker, who gave an address that connected his personal journey to the graduates’ experiences. Jacquart commended the graduates on having achieved something important, despite the adversity and challenges that they likely faced along the way. He spoke about the values that he brought to Stormy Kromer—those of hard work and commitment to quality and a better future. In closing, he encouraged attendees to hold fast to their ideals and their dreams as they reenter the world with newly-gained credentials and degrees from Kirtland.
“We’re confident that what our students have gained during their time at Kirtland will equip them to meaningfully contribute to our local communities and beyond,” said Tom Quinn, President of Kirtland Community College. “We’re very proud of what our graduates go on to accomplish!”
