Phlebotomy Technician Completer
You think you’re just going to go and learn how to draw someone’s blood and then be done, but the way my professor has set it up we really learn all the communication steps and how to make someone feel comfortable. We also learn what to do if things start to go wrong, the signs to watch for. So there’s a lot more than just learning how to draw someone’s blood. I’ve learned how to become a whole new person, to have this persona of being a helpful health care worker.
