With more options than ever before, Kirtland Community College is the place to go for earning your Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Saginaw Valley State University. Graduate with your BSN without having to travel to SVSU and without having to rack up an enormous amount of student debt!
Building off of our existing ADN-BSN concurrent partnership with SVSU, we added an additional pathway for students wanting to obtain their Bachelor’s in Nursing.
The ADN-BSN 3+1 program pathway includes many additions such as:
- The ability to complete all of your classes on the Kirtland campus in Grayling.
- Providing students with success coaches and tutoring options
- Hiring additional instructors to teach at Kirtland to minimize travel between campuses as students complete their degree.
- Provide scholarships to assist in covering and lowering costs of tuition and coursework.
What is the difference between the ADN-BSN Concurrent Pathway and the ADN-BSN 3+1 Pathway?
The ADN-BSN 3+1 pathway program will provide you with the same outcome as our traditional concurrent program, but without the stress of taking classes from both Kirtland and SVSU at the same time. The ADN-BSN 3+1 program allows you to focus on your ADN and RN licensing classes, first, and then BSN course work from SVSU afterwards. All while not requiring additional years to complete!
Also, our ADN-BSN 3+1 pathway program ushers in a new line of instructors geared toward helping you succeed. Once enrolled in the pipeline, you will have access to success coaches and tutoring options designed specifically for ADN-BSN 3+1 students. You will gain knowledge and complete courses while working towards your ADN, that will also be applied for your BSN—allowing you to complete all necessary coursework within four years.
