Spring 2026 Draw & Paint: Explore Realism

If you plan to enhance your technique or just simply want to learn, this 4 week class is for you!

All levels of skills are welcome! If you plan to enhance your technique or just simply want to learn, this 4 week class is for you. If you are a beginner you will get help to explore and choose a medium that works for you. Participants can choose to dive into watercolors, graphite renderings, pen & ink, or a color pencil project. If you are ready to see the things often overlooked by untrained eyes, you can take this time to boost your skills. Scott Rice, instructor, will help students explore realism and the different styles that it can represent. Participants will learn to capture the beauty of the world around them and the details that make it amazing.

Paper is provided. Participants should plan to bring their own paints and brushes or pens and pencils. A materials list will be emailed to you after your registration.

This is a four week program that starts April 7th and meets from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. and continues every Tuesday evening until May 5th. Participation is limited to 16 students. Must be at least 18 years of age. One evening class will be postponed due to unavailablity of the instructor, but all student will get 4 classes on campus, date TBD.
