Testing Center Hours

Our Testing Center is open by appointment only, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. For professional test companies, register through that particular test company website or your professionally affiliated association page (ex. ged.com, aapc.com). To find our test center, enter Gaylord or 49735 where indicated. If our site is not an option for you to select, please email us to see if it is an exam we can proctor for you. [email protected]

In case of inclement weather we will try to stay open for testing. But if it is deemed unsafe to travel we may have to close. Check your email from the test company for closures or follow local northern Michigan media. Leave a message on our voicemail 989-705-3700 and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Kirtland Gaylord GED Testing Program

The University Center Gaylord is an official Pearson Vue GED Testing Site. The GED test is an online four subject high school equivalency test that measures skills required by high schools and requested by colleges and employers. Go online to GED.com to access tons of resources and schedule your test.

NCTA CERTIFIED TEST CENTER

Our goal is to provide high-quality testing and instructional assessment services which ascribe to the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines and governmental regulations that promote responsible fiscal, legal, ethical, and equitable practices within an environment of continuous quality improvement and business innovation.

Our Professional Testing Center recently had its Test Center Certification renewed by the National College Testing Association (NCTA). Criteria for certifications are rigorous and are based on the NCTA Professional Standard and Guidelines, which were developed to guide post-secondary test centers in the delivery of quality testing programs.
