Kirtland Foundation Announces Winter 2024 Semester Scholarship Recipients 

The Kirtland Foundation is proud to announce 51 scholarship recipients for the Winter 2024 semester, totaling $35,443 in disbursed awards. Thanks to the support of all of our donors, we are able to continue awarding scholarships to students for years to come.

“I applied for scholarships because I am unable to have a job because of school and needed financial assistance.  My professor mentioned the scholarships and I thought I’d apply to see if I could get some help,” said Adyan Almaliki, foundation scholarship awardee. “I am so appreciative that I received the William (Bill) Ross Scholarship because it will help me continue in the Cardiac sonography program.  It is heartwarming to see people offer the opportunity of financial aid to students who want to see a brighter future.”  

The Kirtland Foundation, through its annual scholarships and endowed funds, allocates financial assistance to combat economic challenges students face in pursuit of higher education. These funds aim to facilitate the academic aspirations and the pursuit of individual success. Scholarships are granted based on a criterion established based off donor’s request. This includes items such as comprehensive essays of applicants’ life experiences, educational and career objectives, and community engagement. Additionally, letters of recommendation play a crucial role in the scholarship committees decision making process.
