POL 6.050 Course Withdrawal
If a student drops a course on or before the census date for the course, no grade will be recorded. However, for withdrawals made after the census date of the course, a grade of “W” will automatically be issued. A student must withdraw before the established withdrawal date for the course or they will receive the grade earned.
Generally, a withdrawal from a course is the student’s option. However, students who are enrolled in a program with additional requirements may be required to withdraw from a course by their program director or lead faculty. As part of a disciplinary action, following due process, an “administrative withdrawal” may be authorized by the Vice President of Student Services.
