Former Associate in Science and Arts Student

Kirtland is close to home and inexpensive. The professors are really one-on-one. It is not like a big university where you are in a lecture hall, you’re a statistic, just a number. At Kirtland you are treated like an actual person. Professors care how you are doing, what’s going on outside of class, and how they can help.

I’ve had friends that have gone to big colleges and universities, and have felt like they are on their own to figure everything out. At Kirtland there are people, anywhere you look, that are trying to help you reach your goals.

Kirtland’s Associate in Science and Arts degree is the launchpad for a limitless future.  By starting at Kirtland before transferring to a four-year college or university, students can develop a passion for subjects they might never have explored while preparing themselves for careers in almost any field.  Kirtland’s transfer pathways help our students develop a strong foundation for wherever their destiny will take them.  Our faculty are passionate and experts in their fields, and they’ll devote one-on-one attention to our students to help them thrive while they’re here.  Whether a student is sure they know where they’re going next year or not sure where they’re going tomorrow, the Associate in Science and Arts can set them on a path to success!
