How We Support You
Kirtland offers free, short-term counseling and success coaching to help students:
- Manage stress and emotions
- Build effective coping strategies
- Stay on track academically and personally
Support is provided by licensed counselors and Student Success Coaches.
Available Services
1:1 Counseling Sessions
- Duration: 45–50 minutes
- Format: In-person, Zoom, or phone
- Focus: Mental health, emotional wellness, coping tools
Lunch & Learn Sessions
- What: Drop-in events covering emotional, physical, social, and academic wellness topics
- Format: First-come, first-served
- Schedule: Posted weekly on our Counseling Facebook Page
Note: Lunch & Learn sessions are not for emergency support.
Appointment Options
You can meet with a counselor in the format that works best for you:
- In-Person: Check in at Student Services
- Zoom: Link sent to your student email
- Phone/Text: Counselor will call you or connect via the Navigate app

Concerned About a Student?
Report concerns related to a student’s safety, well-being, or behavior to Kirtland’s Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) or CARE Team.
