Associate in Accounting
Every Organization Needs an Accountant!
Many people who choose accounting as a profession decide early in life that it’s their best career path. No wonder! It’s well known that accountants are important and valuable in every sector of our society.
For those who are good with numbers, who are interested in money, who want to have a skillset and credentials that will allow for a wide variety of opportunities, accounting is something you might love and excel at.
There are positions available for you with an associate degree. And there are other higher paid careers that open up to you if you decide, either from the beginning or after a few years in the workforce, to go back to school and prepare for more advanced jobs in the field.
With an accounting background, you can choose to work in almost any industry: government, corporations, manufacturing, small business, non-profit or religious organizations, or even self-employment are possibilities. Why? Because everyone needs an accountant!
As one of our students wisely observed recently:
“Everyone needs an accountant in some way so the field will never die out. Also, I can go far in accounting and become very successful.”
