Always wanted to work for yourself?
From a young age you may have had the impulse and desire to work for yourself. You may have opened a lemonade stand, mowed lawns, offered babysitting or other services that brought in money – money you earned yourself and could spend yourself. You may have made crafts or hosted yard sales, turning your efforts into cash. Either way, you found that there’s something about performing a service, or making a product and then selling it to someone else that’s satisfying and exciting.
Life online has given you an appetite for entrepreneurship?
Your desire for self-employment may have arisen from spending time on the computer and witnessing all the new ways there are to make money in today’s world. Stories abound of people who create wealth for themselves and their families. Through innovation, skill development and learning to recognize opportunities that are right in front of them, many learn how to make choices that put them in the right place at the right time.
You see yourself as a rising star inside a larger enterprise?
You may see yourself as an important mover or influencer in the wheels of someone else’s company where you can be an administrator, program manager, secretary, accounting clerk, or administrative assistant. You may be especially interested in rising through the ranks to a position of authority that offers stability and a good salary with benefits.
There’s something all these circumstances – and YOU – have in common:
You want to get ahead, and you know that getting a solid foundation in business is an indispensable step on the road to progress and financial security.
