Aneta Radford

Aneta Radford

Nursing Graduate

My passion for nursing started when I became the caregiver for my ailing grandmother while living in Jamaica. Prior to being accepted into the Kirtland Community College Nursing Program, I worked as a restaurant worker, but I was not satisfied. I sought out CNA training programs and found one an hour drive from home. The nurses whom I worked with gave me the inspiration that has brought me to this point in my studies. When I got accepted into Kirtland Community College I was as happy as a clam.

Kirtland Community College has built my confidence and has shown me that I can manage more than I thought I could. It is through my instructors that I learned how to develop strong study habits, get comfortable with being uncomfortable, and most importantly, how to be a safe nurse and grow as an individual for which I am thankful.

Amy Roy, MSN, RN

Director of Nursing and Allied Health

Whether you’re wishing to become an Associate Degree Nurse (ADN), to transition from LPN to RN, or work concurrently for your ADN and BSN, Kirtland is the place for you.

Outstanding faculty are committed to your success. Kirtland has an incredible simulation learning center, clinical partnerships with hospitals throughout Michigan, support systems, and strong NCLEX pass rates which makes this the program you should choose.
