Orientation, Advising & Registration Day (OAR)
All new students are required to sign up for a day long Orientation/Advising/Registration Day (OAR) to ensure a smooth transition into college. Find out more and register.
Admission to Kirtland
Kirtland’s Admissions staff will help you through the application process. You can apply to Kirtland: online, in person or by mail.
Your path will be unique depending on whether you are:
- a new Kirtland student
- returning to Kirtland or
- transferring to Kirtland

Students who have never attended college before - Home Schooled Students
Students who have been educated at home - Former Kirtland Students
Students who have taken classes at Kirtland in the past. If you were part of the COOR program in high school, you are considered a new student - Transfer Students
Students who have attended another college in the past, even if you don’t want to use the credit at Kirtland - High School Dual Enrolled Students
Any K-12 student who wants to attend Kirtland - Guest Students
Students who are taking a class at Kirtland to transfer back to their home college - Non-Degree seeking Students
