Orientation, Advising & Registration Day (OAR)
All new students are required to sign up for a day long Orientation/Advising/Registration Day (OAR) to ensure a smooth transition into college. Find out more and register.
**Attention** Students interested in Kirtland’s new Phlebotomy course are requested to call the Student Success Center at ext. 280, and speak with an academic advisor regarding the additional requirements to qualify for this course.
Admission to Kirtland
Kirtland’s Admissions staff will help you through the application process. You can apply to Kirtland: online or in person.
Your path will be unique depending on whether you are:
- a new Kirtland student
- returning to Kirtland or
- transferring to Kirtland

Students who have taken classes at Kirtland in the past. If you were part of the COOR program in high school, you are considered a new student

Students who have attended another college in the past, even if you don’t want to use the credit at Kirtland

Campus Security Report
As required under the Jeanne Clery Act (20 U.S.C. § 1092(f)), each year the college is required to prepare an Annual Security Report of crime statistics that were committed on Kirtland campuses, in or on a non-campus building or property, or on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus, and inform employees where this information can be located. Anyone may obtain a paper copy of the Annual Security Report through the Public Safety Department office or by calling 989 275-5000 extension 322. There is no fee charged for this report.
