A full-time student is defined as a student who is enrolled for 12 or more credit hours during the fall or winter semester or 6 or more credit hours during the summer session.
A part-time student is defined as a student who is enrolled for 11 or fewer credit hours during the fall or winter semester or 5 or fewer credit hours during the summer session.
Students enrolling for more than 18 credit hours for the fall or winter semester, or more than 8 credit hours for the summer session, must receive permission from the Vice President of Instructional Services, or designee. In the instance where the college catalog lists more than 18 hours as a suggested semester load, students may register without need of additional permission.
