Pen to Publisher: A Creative Writing Journey in 5 Weeks

Join us at Kirtland Grayling for a short-term kickstart to any of your writing projects. If you have been working on a piece or are itching to start, this experience is perfect for the end of winter. This course teaches students methods of the creative process applicable to a variety of genres. Students will learn to form creative habits that serve their goals and health. In particular, this course encourages students to plan, draft, revise, and seek publication for a single piece of short fiction or nonfiction.

Leading this creative experience is Cole Brayfield. Cole is a full-time English faculty member at Kirtland. He’s published fiction; nonfiction; and most recently, two video games. He loves many genres.

Please join Cole on Monday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. The course begins Monday, February 19 and ends on March 18.
