Do you know the difference between graduation and Commencement?
Graduation is the actual awarding of a degree or certificate. They are awarded each semester (Fall, Winter and Summer). The graduation and diploma dates are always the last day of the graduating semester.
Commencement is the ceremony honoring those receiving degrees and certificates.
The process of preparation for graduation and commencement can be confusing. Visit our Steps to Graduate page for a detailed step-by-step guide.
Will I be able to keep my KMail after graduating?
Yes, you will continue to have access to your account as long as Kirtland continues to use Google as their email server.
You may contact Renae Klee at 989-275-5000 ext. 291 with any further questions or concerns.
On behalf of the faculty, staff and board of trustees at Kirtland Community College, we congratulate you on your accomplishment and thank you for becoming part of our lives.
