POL 6.095 Student Rules and Regulations
Kirtland Community College places great value on freedom of expression, but it also recognizes the responsibility to protect an academic community’s values and structures while maintaining a focus on learning. Therefore, it is essential that students assume responsibility for helping to sustain an educational and social community where the rights of all are respected. This includes complying with Kirtland’s standards of conduct designed to protect the health, safety, dignity, learning, and the rights of all. The college shall provide a due process system for students to guarantee their rights as set forth by the Constitution of the United States.
