POL 5.090 Solicitation and Acceptance of Funds and Gifts

The college recognizes the vital importance of gifts to institutional development.  Gifts from individuals and organizations may often benefit Kirtland by providing resources that help the college accomplish its mission. The President or designated representative will determine if a gift meets the above guideline.  

Fundraising and Gift Solicitation
All major fundraising or solicitation activities must be approved by the President or designated representative. Kirtland reserves the right to restrict all fundraising activities to reasonable times, places, and manners. Solicitation of funds by students, employees, or visitors on college grounds must be approved by the President or his designated representative and must be for the purpose of benefiting the college or student activities and organizations. 

Foundation
Gifts to the college should be directed through the Foundation who will follow their policy on the acceptance of gifts.
