Kirtland Scholarship for 2016 High School Graduates
High School Excellence Award – GPA of 3.5 +
$1,000 semester/$2,000 year
Scholarship Requirements: Minimum of 12 credits per semester, application for regular admission to Kirtland be submitted between October 1, 2015 and June 15, 2016. You must have attended Orientation/Advising/Registration (OAR) and be registered by July 31, 2016 or you forfeit the scholarship. No Scholarship Application Needed.
* Renewable for 2nd year upon completion of 24 college level credits & 3.0 GPA

Local/Regional External Scholarships
Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon Alumni Association $1,000 Scholarship
The Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon Alumni Association offers Scholarships to Roscommon High School graduates whose parent, grandparent, or legal guardian also attended Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon High School.
Application Deadline: April 1st go be recognized at Roscommon Senior Awards Night; otherwise, none as applications are accepted throughout the year.
CampusRN $2,500 Scholarship Program
CampusRN has launched a scholarship program in conjunction with the creation of the CampusRN state edition network. This nationwide scholarship program is the most comprehensive of its kind for nursing programs and nursing students because it features scholarship winners from six different regions across the country in which CampusRN has launched state edition sites. CampusRN awards six $2,500 scholarships to a needy and deserving nursing student in each region.
CampusRN has $15,000 in Scholarships Available to Nursing & Allied Health Students.

Tolfree Foundation: Paul A Poling Memorial Fund $2,500 Scholarship
The Paul A. Poling Memorial Fund Scholarship is offering a minimum of two (2) $2,500 scholarships. These scholarships are designated to further health care education in the region. Preference is given to graduates of any high school in West Branch Regional Medical Center’s (WBRMC) service areas, graduates of Kirtland Community College School of Nursing pursuing their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and employees currently employed in health care and who are continuing their education towards a higher degree in healthcare. The foundation is also offering one (1) $500 scholarship in Memory of Lucile Schwarz and a minimum of four scholarships funded by contributions from employees and fund raising activities.

Michigan Retailers Association $1,000 Scholarship
MRA’s college scholarship competition begins in January each year. Applications are due by April 1. To be eligible, the student applicant or a parent or guardian must work at a business that is a member of MRA. High school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors may apply.
Awards are $1,000 for public or private college students and $500 for community college or training institute students. Financial need is not a consideration.
