Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon Alumni Association $1,000 Scholarship

The Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon Alumni Association offers scholarships to Roscommon High School graduates whose parent, grandparent, or legal guardian also attended Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon High School.

National External Scholarships

GraduateNursingEDU.org $500 Scholarship Essay Contest (4 to be awarded)

GraduateNursingEDU.org has launched their first, annual essay contest. There will be four winners, each receiving a $500 scholarship to help make earning a degree in nursing just a little bit easier. The topic of your 100-200 word essay is up to you. You’re free to add a video and a picture or two. Just be sure your essay is accurate, truthful, and inspired. The essay will be judged based on grammar, creativity, and originality. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years old (at the time of disbursement) and be enrolled in a nursing program.

SeniorAdvisor.com $2,000 2015 Future of Assisted Living Scholarship (2 to be awarded)

SeniorAdvisor.com, the premier ratings and review site for senior services providers nationwide, is proud to announce their second annual scholarship for advancement in higher education. Two $2,000 scholarships are available to students enrolled in an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. Each eligible student must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town?
