Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon Alumni Association $1,000 Scholarship

The Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon Alumni Association offers scholarships to Roscommon High School graduates whose parent, grandparent, or legal guardian also attended Gerrish-Higgins/Roscommon High School.

Transfer Scholarships

Many colleges and universities offer transfer scholarship. Check with the Admissions or Financial Aid Office of the school you are transferring to. 

National External Scholarships $500 Scholarship Essay Contest (4 to be awarded) has launched their first, annual essay contest. There will be four winners, each receiving a $500 scholarship to help make earning a degree in nursing just a little bit easier. The topic of your 100-200 word essay is up to you. You’re free to add a video and a picture or two. Just be sure your essay is accurate, truthful, and inspired. The essay will be judged based on grammar, creativity, and originality. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years old (at the time of disbursement) and be enrolled in a nursing program.

Scholarship Application and Details

Application Deadlines (4 per year): December 31, 2014; March 31, 2015; June 30, 2015; & September 30, 2015 $1,000 General Scholarship for Advanced Education: Fall 2015 is awarding a general academic scholarship of $1,000 to eligible college students. Applicants must be residents of the United States, be at least 16 years of age, and be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary academic institution in the United States. To apply for the scholarship, each candidate must answer four personal, open-ended, and thought-provoking questions. The students whose responses are the most persuasive, compelling, and well-written, as judged by our executive management team will be considered finalists. Scholarship Application and Details

Application Deadline: October 1, 2015 $2,000 2015 Future of Assisted Living Scholarship (2 to be awarded), the premier ratings and review site for senior services providers nationwide, is proud to announce their second annual scholarship for advancement in higher education. Two $2,000 scholarships are available to students enrolled in an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. Each eligible student must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town?
