Prepare for a career as a Correctional Officer in as little as one year by enrolling in the certificate program at Kirtland and obtain the skills required by the Michigan Dept. of Corrections. Don’t stop there. Continue your education by earning an associate’s degree in KCC’s two-year Corrections Officer or Corrections/Jail Administration programs.

Start your career in education with an associate’s degree in Teaching from Kirtland Community College, a smart move since your first two years at Kirtland will cost about two-thirds that of attending a four-year school. This program is designed for students who plan on transferring to a college or university to complete their bachelor’s degree.
